Awakenings cover reveal!

A lot of publishing news has been going on all around me  these last few weeks.

No, none for me, not yet. I'm still deep in the query trenches. But quite a few of my friends have had some good luck. Newest of said news is: my awesome CP Stacey Nash just sold her debut to the up-and-coming publisher Entranced. I'm so excited about this because her story is simply fantastic and I can't wait for it to come out! Eep! Go here to congratulate her and follow to keep up with news about her awesome new book! http://www.staceynash.com/blog/

But there will be more on her and her awesome story later (I'm thinking an interview would be fun. You in Stacey??)

Right now we have another celebration going on. One of my contest friends J.E. Shannon, who was a mentoree-sister of mine in Pitch Wars this January, also sold her YA to Entranced and guess what? IT HAS A COVER!!  Oh my, I love covers. I really do. I think about my own a lot, I look up pictures that would work and I often make covers before I write a story (no, not ones I would actually use, but still so much fun). So when she asked for people to be involved in the reveal, I jumped at the chance!

And guys, IT BEAUTIFUL!

Awakenings sounds so flipping cool (read the bio below the cover and add it to Goodreads!)

So here it is!

Evie Shepard's nightmare begins when she finds herself buried alive, with no idea how she got that way. As she struggles to remember what happened to her, she begins to notice changes about herself. Her senses are heightened, her movements are quicker, she is incredibly strong....her heartbeat has stopped. It's then she makes a disturbing discovery. She wasn't buried alive. She was murdered. Somehow she has come back...

And she wants revenge.
